Reaxys database has completed the procurement-related operations and will continue to provide your organization with the national academic version. The subscription period is from June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026.
The restarted Reaxys Academic Edition (RAE) is built on the existing data of the previous Reaxys Basic Edition and introduces two new features:
1. Retrosynthesis AI technology - users can draw new molecules and obtain predictions of the total synthesis path within 10 minutes, while providing reagents, yields and reaction details of similar reactions in the literature.
2. Bioactivity visualization analysis - users can explore the searched compound library for biomedical applications, find potential drug targets, and perform heat map visualization analysis to provide valuable activity data extracted from literature patents.
Since RAE allows users to upload their own molecules (target molecules) for AI prediction, the obtained AI prediction results (corresponding synthesis plans) will be encrypted and saved in the user's Reaxys personal account. Therefore, in order to ensure that the user's intellectual property can be better protected and to prevent illegal acts by unauthorized persons from affecting the stability of the database system, the use method will adopt a double authentication mechanism:
IP+ personal account login www.reaxys.com
Personal account:
*First-time users, please go to www.reaxys.com within the unit's IP range, click Register, and apply with the unit's email.
*If you have applied for an account in Reaxys Basic Edition in the past, but not with the unit's email, please reapply as a first-time user; if the existing account has been applied for with the unit's email, you can use it directly.
The "Database Authorization Agreement" regulates the rights and obligations of manufacturers and users. With the introduction of AI technology by RAE, new provisions related to confidentiality, data collection and storage, and ownership derived from AI tools have been added. The contract terms (Chinese and English versions) are attached. Please announce them to all researchers in your unit for reference. It is hoped that all users can fully understand and make good use of them.
